Hi everyone!!  Yep...it's time for the new Copic/Promarker (yep, we've added Promarkers to our Copic group) challenge over at The Outlawz!!  This week I am giving you the challenge of "Anything Goes".  WooHoo....love anything goes!  For my card this week I have used this precious little image from By Lori Designs Spoonfuls collection called "Nellie"....

A New Sketch at Phindy's Place

Hi everyone!!  It's time for a new challenge at Phindy's Place already.  OMGosh...where is time going!?!  I'm going to be a busy little Nana this weekend because I am going to have my two youngest granddaughters (6 months and 2 years) for the weekend.  *sigh*  I just love my granddaughters but dang...do they ever remind me that I'm not very young anymore.  I will also have Tailee and MayCee on Saturday.  Should be fun!!!

This week at Phindy's Place we have a new sketch for you created by our very own Anne-Marije!!  She created the most beautiful sketches!!

If Friends Were Flowers

Hi everyone!!  Yep, it's me again!  :)  Today I have a card for you that I created for my very first DT card with 7 Kids College Fund using a Magnolia stamp.  I have a few of them but I have yet to catch the Maggie bug.  I think that is about to change!!  I finally got a chance to play with some skin colors and I think I've come up with a combo that I really like for them.  Here's my card using "Tilda With Flowers"...

So...what do you think?  She was so much fun to color!!

Clean and Simple

Hi everyone!  Wow...can you believe that I am actually posting more than once this week!  I do believe that my mojo is making a comeback!  :)  I have decided to try my hand at CAS with The Sunday CAS challenge at The Outlawz!!  Okay seriously....CAS is totally out of my comfort zone but I just got these new stamps and I have been dying to try them!!  Here's my CAS card...

Okay...so what do you think?  I don't know why my white is pulling pink.  Maybe because we are so foggy today!  I just had to add that button because my addiction for embellishing got the better of me!!  Oh well, I am happy with how it turned out and oh my...it was so fast!!

Simply Adorable

What a perfect name for these FABULOUS new stamps and digi's from Sugar Nellie.  I was so thrilled when they finally went on sale and  to see that they were in the digi format too!!  I so hate waiting for stamps to arrive in the mail and especially when they're coming from Sweden!!!  Of course I just had to have them all.  OMGosh...they are so beautiful!!!!  You can get them with just the head or the full body.  I bought all of the full body ones but I think I need to have all of the head ones now too!!

This week at the Copic/Promarker (yep, we've put you Promarker girls in with us Copic girls) Challenge at The Outlawz I issued the challenge of "Let's Get Romantic" and this was my take on romantic.  My idea of romantic is soft colors and lots of flowers.  Here's the card I created using the full body image of "Joy"...

For my card this week I have used the image "Rainy Day" and think that it is a perfect image for a thinking of you or missing you card.  Here's my card for this challenge...

I used some waterfall stickles on the rain drops and it actually looks really pretty IRL!!  :)  I have used the Marjolaine DP from Basic Grey and I really love the colors in this line of DP!!

Exciting News

This is me.....jumping up and down squealing like a little girl!!!!!!!!  :) :) :) :) 

Hey everyone!!  I'm popping in today with some news that I am so excited about that I could hardly stand myself yesterday!!!  I have been asked to be on the design team at 7 Kids College Fund!!!  OMGosh....I am still just giddy and of course I had to reward myself with some retail therapy last night!!!  :)  I would really like to just have one of everything but....I think hubby would have killed me! 

Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to create a project for yesterdays challenge but you really should check out the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog.  This one will really make you put on your thinking cap and of course the DT has done some amazing work!!

The Outlawz Monday Challenge

Hi everyone!!  I'm a little late posting my card today.  Oops....so sorry!  Today in the Monday Birthday Challenge at The Outlawz we was challenged to use Pink, Brown and Green.  I used one of my S.W.A.L.K stamps to create this card..............

I just love this cute little stamp!!  My image is colored with Copics.  Do you see those tiny little alpha stickers?  OMGosh....I LOVE THEM!!!

And while I'm sharing cards, here's the card I created for the Thursday's Prisma and Other Mediums Challenge...

This is only the second time I have colored with my Prisma's on kraft cardstock and I have to say....I totally love the look of it.  Yes, I need some serious practice but hey....it wasn't too bad for a beginner huh!?!  :)  I wish you could see the card IRL because the shading and highlighting are so much better than what is showing up.  Okay, to me it looks better but some of you Prisma goddesses  will think it looks like a child did it!!!  LOL!

It's Just A Love Day

LOL!!  Hi everyone!!  I am super excited to bring you my post today because I just love Valentine's Day and today my card is for 2 very special challenges that are near and dear to my heart!  :)

This week at Phindy's Place our challenge is "Valentines/Loved One and I am also using this for the new Copic Challenge at The Outlawz!!  My two loves....Phindy's and The Outlawz!!!  :)  Here's my card for these two challenges and I have used the image "My Love Grows"....

Isn't this the cutest image!?! I just love it!  For some reason here lately I have had embellishment issues.  What is up with that?  I love my embellishments but I just can't make anything look right!  Ugh!!

A Distressed Phindy

Hi everyone!!  Well, I am among the living believe it or not.  :)  My hubby has officially applied for his pension.  WooHoo!  When it's all said and done he'll be making more than he was working.  We have about a month before we can breathe easy but we're going to make it!  Thank you everyone for all the thoughts and prayers.  You all mean the world to me and I know that God has a special place in heaven for you all!!  Mwah!

Our challenge this week at Phindy's Place is "distressing" and did you know that you can now use any image for the Phindy's Place challenge!?!  How awesome is that!?!  We would love for you to use a Phindy's image if you have one though.  After all....Phindy does make the most awesome digi's!!!!

Happy New Year And A DT Call

Hi everyone!!  I'm sorry I have been MIA for the last couple of weeks but as some of you know that on top of my MIL passing away my hubby was also laid off.  I won't go into that part of it because it still makes me feel so angry at these people that I can't hardly stand it!!!  We are going to be fine though!!  Everything that has happened in the last few weeks has really taken it's toll on my mojo!!  Ugh!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and that the New Year brings many good things your way.  Me personally....I'm ready for 2010 to be over.

On another note................

Phindy's Place Challenge Blog is having a Design Team call!

We are looking for creative designers to work with Phindy's Place digital images, for a six month term, from 1 February until July. You will be expected to create a card or project each week to be published on the Challenge Blog (currently Friday) as well as to your own blog and occasionally there may be further requirements such as a blog hop. You are also expected to comment on a proportion of the entries to the Challenge Blog. Membership of the Papercraft Planet Group is encouraged and you need to upload your weekly cards to the PCP gallery so that they can be uploaded to the slide shows for the group.

The ideal team member need not have experience of being on a Design Team, however their commitment and enthusiasm are important. It is important to have a regularly updated blog, to comment regularly on entries to the challenge and it is important to meet deadlines.

What is in it for you?
You will get a generous allowance of digis from the Phindy's Place shop to work with each month, more than enough for each month's challenges.
You will received an additional discount on designs from the Phindy's Place shop.
You will get the fun of working with brilliant designs, sometimes before their release to the public and being part of a close-knit and friendly team.
