Who Am I???
First and foremost, I am a child of God. With so much hurt in this world it's a comfort to know that I am in God's hands!!
I am married to the most wonderful man in the whole world and only wish he would have come into my life long before he did. He is my rock and I don't know what I would do without him!! We live in a very small community in SE Idaho and although I love country living I really hate the lack of places to go shopping! I dislike our local market with a passion and if I can help it, will not shop there. I have a son from a previous marriage. My hubby also has two kids, a son and a daughter and I love them as if there were my own. Between the three of them we have 5 of the most beautiful granddaughters ever!! Grandchildren definitely make having kids worth it!!
After I lost my job I started watching my 2 oldest granddaughters full time and the summer of 2010 my heart broke when my oldest granddaughter started crying and saying that she couldn't read. She was going into the 3rd grade and had no idea how to read! I was heartbroken and made a vow to myself that I would teach her to read and there began my homeschooling career! LOL! It has been the most rewarding job I have ever had in my life. Okay, the pay is terrible :P but the reward is great!!!
I entered into the world of scrapbooking when my son was small but at that time scrapbooking stuff was very boring and I lost interest very quickly. Then right before my second granddaughter was born I got my very first digital camera and was in love. After she was born I began scrapbooking and did so for about 6 years until I stumbled onto a cardmakers blog and FELL IN LOVE!! Thus began my addiction to Copic markers and stamps. Not too long after that I discovered digital stamps and I LOVE THEM!!
I received my Copic certification in June of 2010 and I'm hopelessly addicted. One day I hope to be able to teach people how to use them but if that day never comes, my markers will still make me happy!!
