How ironic is it that it would just so happen to be a picture from my FIL and MIL's wedding almost 60 years ago!?! Wasn't he just the most handsome man!?! Mom was so beautiful and still is!!

A VERY SAD MONDAY!!!

I received a call this morning that my Father in Law passed away in the night. Words can not express the sorrow I feel right now. I loved him as if he were my own dad and I will MISS him so very much! I probably won't be around much this week.

Well here's by picture...taken by my wonderful loving hubby that just so happened to piss me off right before he took my picture. This was the best one out of them. I actually made time to do a LO today!! Aahhhh....stress relief!! I just love this picture of Tailee and her Daddy. I took this picture on Saturday when we went to watch MayCee and Christian at a dance competition and Tailee leaned over to her dad gazed up at him and said.....Just kill me!!! Bwaahaahaa! She just kills me. She is so not girly and she has the cutest dimple in her cheek when she smiles. She sure does look like her daddy. Here's my LO.....

All of the new Prima flowers are just too much fun and of course I had to have them ALL!! =o)

I'm off to play with the new Swirlydoos kit! OMGoodness....it is freaking awesome!! Can you say GRUNGE!?! Totally 100% grunge!!! Could be interesting!! Bad day!!

Yesterday really kicked my butt!!! My FIL is having some serious health issues and yesterday was a really bad day! I received a call from my MIL yesterday morning saying that my FIL was out of his head and she didn't know what to do. So...I went down there and ended up spending the ENTIRE day there. So much for getting caught up on my transcription so I could have a scrappy weekend!!! I ended up calling for an ambulance at about 4:30 yesterday afternoon. I won't bore you with the details. I think I'm going to die if I don't get some scrappy time SOON!!!! Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!!!

Well, I am so glad it's Friday!! I'm hoping to get a little scrappy time some time this weekend but MayCee and Christian are in dance competition tomorrow (out of town of course) and they are really looking forward to Nana and Papa coming to watch!! I really have a hard time taking pictures in a gymnasium though. Oh well, if one turns out I'll be happy. So maybe when we get back I'll get some me time!!

I used Beggahuna's sketch as inspiration to come up with this LO. It took lots of changing product before I found the look that seemed to fit these pictures perfectly!! Don't you just love these pictures I took of my granddaughter on one of her not so girly moments. I was just dying laughing at her and she was just being super silly!! Maybe to much chocolate!?! Ehhhhh.....I think she had more ON her than IN her!!! She is such a crazy girl!! Okay...here it is.

Ugggg.....

It's the first Monday after the change to daylight savings time and I'm hating life!!! I had a really hard time sleeping last night and I'm really paying for it this morning!! Maybe I need to move to Arizona. I'm working on a new LO but of course work has to get in the way!! Hope you all have a better Monday than me!! BTW....do you like DST!?!

Prima heaven

That is what I am in with the new Swirlydoos kit!!! The girls over there just drip with inspiration. This LO it for the Whimsy Sketch Challenge (Beggahuna is their sketch designer).

I should be working today but I wanted to scrapbook so bad I couldn't stand it. Today is my hubby's birthday "54"!! I keep asking him what I'm doing with such an old man!!! Anyway..the kids took him to JackPot for the night to celebrate his birthday and I said I would stay home and take care of the animals. Aren't I a good wife!?! Really I just wanted to stay home so I could play with my scrappy supplies for a while!!! ;-) I'm starting to get a migraine but did manage to get this LO done before I couldn't think anymore!!!


Isn't this stitched Prima mulberry paper just too much fun!?! I love all of it!!! Besides, I don't have to do my own stitching and that is a GOOD thing!!! This is a picture of MayCee when we were outside playing in the snow. The snow is actually up to her knees!! Well I was taking pictures of her and Tailee and she picked up this piece of snow and said.....Look Nana, TEXAS!!! It was just too stinkin' cute!!! LOL!!! I couldn't believe how close she actually was. Of course I had to look it up in the encyclopedia because I couldn't remember for sure (I know, I know) and she was actually pretty darn close.

Now I need to go scrap a LO of Tailee and Christian!!!! Don't want them to be sad because Nana didn't do for them!!! I'm so upset that I have to do two more!!! NOT!!!

It's official!

I'm now a friend of PageMaps!! 8.5x11 wasn't my first choice but hey...I completed my second 8.5x11 layout ever!!! I'm happy with how it turned out!!
