A New Year A New Release

WOW...I have totally neglected my blog during the holidays.  Life got a little crazy and totally zapped my creativity but it's a New Year and no more YUCKY's allowed in my world!!!  LOL!

Well, it's time for a New Year's release at DZ Doodles!!  Diane has created these cute little box images that are totally awesome for creating 3D images.  I never would have thought about doing a 3D image except for Diane at DZ Doodles showed us this image that she had created 3D so, I decided that I just had to try it!!  Diane also showed us how to make dimensional dots out of chipboard.  Here's the card I created with this new box image.....

If you haven't tried using chipboard as dimensional dots.....you have got to try it!!!  It adds just the perfect amount of dimension.  Hey, and it's cheap too!!!

It's a DZ Doodles new release.

Diane has been busy on the drawing board and now we are having a new release over at DZ Doodles. I just love this image and I had fun coloring her. I used my Copics and my Spica glitter pens and also used Creative Inspirations Fairy Dust paint on her wings. I tried to give her a more vintage feel so I used muted colors. I love how she turned out!!

Now I Can Share

I have been chosen to be on the DZ Doodles design team!! I am soooo excited that I can't stand it!! Our first assignment was to create a card for the Copic Buzz challenge sponsored by DZ Doodles this week. Okay, beings I'm on the DT for Copic Buzz and the DT for DZ Doodles....I created two cards with the awesome images that Diane creates!! The first is for the Copic Buzz DT and I went with a Christmas theme!!

For the DZ Doodles DT portion of the challenge, we was provided with an image of a scarecrow to play with!! Which by the way, if you join us this week on Copic Buzz you will also get that same image for FREE!!!! It was so much fun to work with and I'm happy with how it turned out!
