A New Victoria Case Challenge

Our challenge this week was to use the colors blue and brown. I really had a lot of fun with this new stamp from Victoria Case for SCACD. The whole release is just the cutest stamps I have ever seen!!! Everyone otta have at least one!! The Pixie Cottage DT call....

While blurfing I ran into a post about The Pixie Cottage having a DT call!! I had to check it out and OMG....they have the cutest stamps!!! Gotta love whimsical! As part of the DT call we was to pick 3 of our most recent creations. Hmmm....I think I'll try!! Wow...now to pick 3!!! Here goes......

More Christmas Cards

I can't believe that I'm doing Christmas cards already. I have a couple that I have finished and have decided that there are just too many cute Christmas images out there to use just one!!

This first one is a digital image from a new company called DZ Doodles. They have so many cute ones that I had a hard time choosing!! You really need to go check them out!!!

The second card I have for you today is using another image from Mo's Digital Pencil. I colored with my Copics and sprayed it with Shimmerz Baby's Breath Spritz. LOVE that stuff!!

A new DT...

and I'm on it!! WooHoo!! I was lucky enough to be chosen as one of the DT members over at Copic Buzz. My fellow DTer's are Annita, Verda, Barbara and Tina. They all have GREAT talent and I feel very fortunate to be working with them!! Our leader's name is Barbara too and she will be opening a new online store some time in 2010!! Oh...I can't wait!!

At Copic Buzz we do weekly challenges and have been lucky enough to have some AWESOME sponsors!! This is my very first DT card and our sponsor this week is Flourishes. WOW....do they ever have some fabulous stamp sets!! Of course my card isn't a Flourishes stamp because I didn't have time to get any ordered before the challenge. The challenge was "Inspired by Nature" and I loved this image from Squigglefly. They have some awesome digital images.



This was colored with Copic markers and I think it turned out okay considering I'm still new to Copics and cards!!! Hope to see you at Copic Buzz and join us next Tuesday as we have a new digital company sponsoring!!!

Copic Creations Challenge #10

This is my very first time doing a card for the Copic Creations Challenge. This week was to use red and/or pink and hearts. I needed to make my Mom a birthday card and really loved this fairy from Mo's Digital Pencil. I just had to think of a way to incorporate the heart!!! So.....I used it in my sentiment. I can't decide if I like it yet but it will have to do!! I'm sure my Mom will love it!!!

I'm starting....

on my Christmas cards!! OMG...can you believe it!?! Of course I have only finished one because I made this one special for a friend that is really into Native American culture. This image is from Mo's Digital Pencil and I just love it!!! I had asked Mo if she could create a Native American image for me and this is what she came up with. Perfect for my Christmas card don't you think!?! I also used this card for the Copic Buzz challenge this week which is sponsored by Die Cuts R Us. The challenge was to use pink and brown. Oh how I love those two colors together!!! Well....this is what I came up with..............

So, what do you think? Does it look too funky to be a Christmas card? I colored the image with my Copic markers and used Spica glitter pens, glitter and dimensional glaze on the image. It is really cool looking IRL!!! My DP is by My Minds Eye and it worked perfect. Sometimes it pays to have a TON of DP in my own little crafty store....errrr room!! Hubby thinks it's a store!!! You do gotta!!! Okay...you're probably thinking WTH!?! Our new challenge over at the Victoria Case Challenge Blog was to use Lt. green, black and white. WOW...I didn't think that it would be that hard but I have to admit.....I DON'T KNOW HOW TO COLOR BLACK HAIR. Thanks to Jana for pointing me to a tutorial video done by Suzanne Dean (my favorite) I managed to get one done without ruining it. Thank God I had lots of paper beings I ruined a few of them!! Sheesh!! Actually, I'm quite please with how this new digi image by Victoria Case turned out but then again.....when you have an image as cute as this one....HOW COULD IT NOT TURN OUT ADORABLE!?! Okay....enough chatting and on to the card!! Here she is, the one, the only.............

I made the top 3 on the Victoria Case Challenge Blog!! I am soooo excited. Victoria has the cutest stamps in both rubber and digital. Won't you join us for this weeks challenge. It's a color challenge......light green, black and white. AWESOME colors together. You should see what the DT came up with. Very inspiring.....now I want to color!!!!

Victoria Case Challenge....

I had so much fun creating this card for the Victoria Case challenge blog. This is just the cutest little image and our friends from church just got their very first granddaughter. She is just so precious!!
