A New Digital Company

A Holiday Party

At Michelle Perkett Studio this weekend we celebrated 100 members in our group by having a Holiday Party.  We was given this awesome sketch created by Carlie.

A Pixie Sketch

It's time for a new challenge over at The Pixie Cottage Blog!!  We are having a sketch challenge for this time around.  You know, I'm starting to like sketches more and more!!!  Here is the sketch for our challenge this week.....

And here's my card based on this sketch..........

I usually make my cards 5x7 so I had to revamp the sketch a little to fit my card.  I used a new image from Eileen Gutierrez for The Pixie Cottage.  You can find this stamp in Michelle's store here!


Isn't this just the cutest stamp!?!  I just love it!  I have colored with my Copics  and used stickles to give it some bling factor!!  LOL!  Oh, and I also got this new stuff called "Card Scents" and now my card smells like spiced apple cider.  It is just positively yummy!!!

A Christmas Wish Blog Hop

Okay, now it's time for my card and my wish.

First I'm going to show you my Christmas Wish Angel card.  She is just so beautiful!!  I really had some fun getting creative with her!!

Isn't she just stunning!?!  She is colored with Copics and you can't really tell by the picture but she has a glow about her!  I used Creative Inspirations paint in Fairy Dust and Distress Stickles Rock Candy all over her dress and wings.  I used sparkly fluff on her cuffs and collar and used a silver glitter pen to color in my stars!!  I used Diamond glaze on the stars in her hair and on her wings and also used Diamond Stickles on the dots in the sky.  It's a very sparkly card in real life and I just love her!!!

Now for my wish.....
I have a friend who's young granddaughter was diagnosed with cancer last year and in the journey of following her progress I started reading the stories of some of the children that were also suffering from various forms of cancer.  All of these stories were very heart wrenching and I found myself crying over children that I didn't even know.  Their wants and wishes are so small that it made me feel guilty for my wants and wishes!!  They are fighting the battle of their little lives and they enjoy every minute that they have yet so many of us complain about everything in our lives. So, my wish is that every child that is suffering or in pain for any reason have all of their dreams come true!! May God shower them with stars from heaven!!  As the song you are listening to says......A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes!!!!!

My granddaughters have a book that has a saying in it and I repeat it to them often.

Dreams and wishes,

wishes and dreams.

Sometimes they work

and sometimes they don't.

You never know how

they'll turn out in the end.

A Pixie Christmas

Today is a new Pixie Cottage release and we was asked to create something besides a card!!  Uh-oh!!!   I decided that I was going to make a Christmas ornament and while I was making it my granddaughter Tailee decided that she wanted it so.....I guess I'll give it to her to put on her Christmas tree at home.  Better get busy because I'm sure I'll be making a few more!!!  :)

I used this precious new image from Alisa Ramirez that will be available in the store within the next couple of weeks!! 

Isn't that image just adorable!?!  I just thought they looked like they was waiting for Santa!!  I created my ornament with a round coaster and then just cut my DP out to fit.  I added my lace between my two sheets of DP and went from there!!!  I think it turned out really cute and my granddaughters love it!!!  As you can see.....I'm a big loser and don't have my Christmas tree up yet!!  Bah Humbug!!!  LOL!!!

Tomorrow Is The Day

As you can probably see (and hear) I am getting my blog ready for the Michelle Perkett Christmas Wish Blog Hop tomorrow.  I am so excited as we have 26 people participating in our hop and I know that you won't want to miss one of them.  I'm sure that there will be some tears shed tomorrow as we read everyone's Christmas Wish!!!!!

Just thought I would post a few pictures of MayCee and Christian dancing to this song in competitions.  At Nationals they got second place in their division and won overall!!  Nana was so proud!!!!

Phindy's Second Challenge

A New Design Team
