Dang.....

I was just going through my blog and noticed that the post I had scheduled for last Monday didn't post and it is mysteriously GONE!!  I am the hostess of the DZ Doodles color challenge this week.  The colors that I chose were Purple, Blue and White.  Honestly.....I had this new BoBunny paper that I was just dying to use!!  LOL!!!!  Here's the card that I created with these colors using a new DZ Doodles image called "First Time Skater" and it was perfect for this paper!

I really had fun making my snowflakes.  I saw this tutorial and honestly.....I can't remember where about layering snowflake together and using glitter.  I am really happy how this card turned out.

Now I'm just going to show you a few cards that I have been making.  Basically.....another this and that post!!  LOL!!

First up is this AWESOME new image that I got from Phindy's Place.  Phindy has some of the most awesome images!!!

This is my favorite color combination right now.  I just LOVE green and pink together!!!

Next up is a new stamp that I got from Sweet Pea Stamps.  WOW...talk about AWESOME fantasy stamps!!!  I LOVE this one!!!

I really had lots of fun coloring her!!!!

Next up is my challenge card for this last week (which I won BTW.  WOOHOO!!) at Michelle Perkett Studio!!!  Michelle has WONDERFUL fairies and mermaids and if you want you can check out the Paper Craft Planet group and sign up for our awesome Blog Hop happening on Saturday the 5th of December and she will even give you an image that you will use in the blog hop!!!  The Wishing Star Angel is so BEAUTIFUL so I hope you will join us!!!  Oops....hehe!!!  I got off the subject of my challenge card.  Our challenge for last week was a color challenge and the colors were Blue, Green and a splash of red.  Here is what I came up with..............

Stitches!?!

Eek....I had to blow the dust off of my sewing machine to do the new challenge for The Pixie Cottage.  Our challenge this week is called "Getting Stitchy"!!  I have seen so many talented gals that do fabulous stitching on their cards and I am unfortunately not one of them!!!  LOL!!

Here's my card for this challenge........

This was such a fun image to play with and can be used for so many different occasions.  You can find all of The Pixie Cottage stamps at Michelle's Scrapbooking and More.  This card is colored with my Copics and I used the excess rubber from trimming my stamps as my pop dots.  Waste not, want not!!  LOL!!!  My hubby would be so proud of me.

Okay.....the new challenge is to use stitching on your card and I can't wait to see what you do with this challenge!!

I Wish You Enough

Today I have a card for you made with an AWESOME image from Phindy's Place.  Phindy and I were chatting one day and I told her about my granddaughters MayCee (6) and Kaiya (1).  I was telling her how they like to fight over their Nana beings they are both HUGE Nana's girls!!!  Phindy came up with this image based on that conversation.

Isn't this just the cutest image?  I just love the look on the little girls face!!!  This is how I feel sometimes.  This card was based on this weeks Mojo Monday sketch....

I really love this sketch and I can see using it again in the near future!!  Mojo Monday has some of the most AWESOME sketches!!!!

It's Pixie Cottage Day

You guessed it.....it's time for another Pixie Cottage release. This week I created my card with a brand new image by Alisa Ramirez.  I so love this little elf, he just has the cutest look on his face!!!  Are you ready to see my card!?!

I know that he has a very nontraditional hat but I decided to mix it up a bit.  Hey....maybe he's a little bit of a rebel!!  LOL!!!  The card is colored with my Copics and then I used a doodlebug stamp for my sentiment.  I used white colorbox ink and bridal tinsel embossing powder.  It really has some sparkle in real life.  I used Sparkly fluff for my snow and the fur and pompoms.

Wags 'n Whiskers

What a cute name don't you think!?!  I have just discovered this new stamp company called Wags 'n Whiskers and let me tell you.....they are cute cute cute!!!  I just got may stamps today and guess what!?!  Just in time for my Birthday!!  hehe!!  Only good thing about today is that my new stamps came!!!

Well, beings my stamps came I decided that I was going to join in on their challenge.  You can find it on the Wags 'n Whiskers blog.  Here is the cutie that i decided to ink up today and the stamp is called Angel Whispers.

The challenge was called "stitch it up".  You must use a Wags 'n Whiskers stamp so I was really glad mine came today!  Okay....I'm so not into stitching but I did manage to do a little.  I used some hemp cord to stitch the inside circles of the flowers on my DP.  I tried to take the picture at an angle so you could see all the sparkle but not sure it does it justice.  I used Copics to color her and then used 3 different colors of stickles on her dress, wings, the hearts on the DP and the butterflies.  It is very sparkly in real life!!

Phindy's Place

A DZ Doodles release

Today we have a new DZ Doodles image release and the image that I got was just simply adorable!!!  I loved coloring this image!  Here's the card that I created with one of the NEW DZ Doodles images!!

Just an Assortment

I'm not feeling all that well today so thought I would make a new post on my blog beings I can do it lying down!!

I have found a new source for digi's!!   Phindy's Place has the cutest digi's!!!  She also has a group on PCP if you would like to join.  Phindy gives us some awesome freebies every now and then so, what have you got to lose for joining us!?!  Hope to see you there!!!  Here are a couple of cards that I created using Phindy's images......

This was our very first freebie on Phindy's PCP group but unfortunately it is no longer availabe for free but you can get it in her etsy shop here. 

I so love this little Christmas elf!!!!  Are you ready to join us now!?!

Next up I have a card that I created with a sample of Cryogen white paper from CutCardStock.com and OMG.....I am so in love with this paper I had to order 8 packs of it!!  I ordered 4 packs of the text and 4 packs of the cover.  I can't wait for it to get here because I have never colored on anything that my Copics have blended so well on!!!  It doesn't take the best pictures because it has a shimmer in the paper that shows through with your copics and it really catches the light when you take a picture!!  It doesn't look that bad IRL!!!

I used a stamp from The Pixie Cottage and also used a sketch from The Sweet Stop.  Isn't this stamp just the cutest!?!

It's Release Day....

at The Pixie Cottage.  Our theme this week is Christmas.  Oh how I love Christmas!!!  I had so much fun working on this card except I did have some coloring difficulties!!  Don't you just hate when that happens!?!  I just love this image and I have to tell you a story.  I asked my granddaughter MayCee what color Santa's gloves were and she said "Nana I'm pretty sure that they are red" so that is the color I made them and then when I looked at a picture they were black.  MayCee was so funny!!!  She was like "well Nana, he can have any color of gloves that he wants to"!!!  I had a lot of fun with her on that one!  Here's my card.....
