A Pollycraft Fairy Tale

Hi everyone!!  It is once again time for a new challenge at Pollycraft.  Our challenge this week is Fairy Tale.  I have really enjoyed being their guest designer this month.

Oh....I really struggled with this one.  I wanted to go more Fairy Tale and it just wasn't working so I was having my 7 yo (going on 27) granddaughter help me pick out an image.  Well, this is the one that she picked!  This is the Lilybean Snowfairy - Clover Snowclouds and I just love her!!

Okay, now for the conversation.  I told her that I didn't think that it would fit the Fairy Tale challenge and she looked at me and said...."Nana, it's a fairy sitting on a cloud by the moon.  Do you think that could really happen?"  OMGosh, I just about wet my pants laughing!!  So who am I to question the logic of a child!?!

My image is colored with Copics and you really can't tell but I have also used Sparkly Fluff on her hat and dress and I have used DecoArt Glamour Dust all over.  This image looks so awesome in real life.  So sparkly and wintery feeling.  I have used my MS snowflake punches with Diamond Stickles and sparkly dots.  My sentiment was made on my computer.

Guest Designer for Pollycraft

Hi everyone!!  I have returned from my vacation to the Oregon Coast with a nasty chest cold so my post is going to be short and sweet.  :)

I was so excited when I got an email from Paula at Pollycraft asking me if I would be a guest designer for them in October.  I just about jumped through the ceiling, I was so excited.  I so love Pollycraft's images and I hope that I do them some justice during my guest time.

Our challenge for this week at Pollycraft Monday Challenge  is  "Anything Goes" and you don't have to use a Pollycraft image but why would you not want to!?!  They are all FABULOUS!!!!  Here's the card that I have created using the image "Sharing Sherbet Catch a Falling Star" and I have to tell you......every single one of these images are absolutely adorable!!!  I really must get my hands on the Christmas ones!!  OMGoodness, they are darling!!!  Okay, now to my card!  :)

I ran out of printer ink so unfortunately I couldn't print out my sentiment so I used one of my Sakura Glaze pens to create my own!!  I think I used a whole sheet of paper before I got one that was acceptable.  :)  There really is an apostrophe in the You're but my paper ribbon is covering it up.  :P

A Little of This and A Little of That

Hi everyone!!  I know that I have been MIA here lately but I have been so busy that it just kinda zapped my mojo.  I have done some relaxing in the evening by coloring when I can but just no mojo to create the cards!!!  Well....today my hubby had to work so I took the day for myself and managed to muster up some mojo!!  I have created a couple of cards today.  One using one of Mo's images for the Friday Sketchers Challenge and another using an awesome male image from Pollycraft Designs using the Pollycraft Monday Challenge sketch!!

First is the card using the Pollycraft Designs image "Maurice - Caught One".  Honestly....I had to buy all of them because I have had a lot of people asking me for cards for men lately and I think these images are FABULOUS!!!  For my card I have used the challenge at Pollycraft Designs which is a sketch this week.  It worked out perfectly for my card!!

Picked as a Pollycraft Favorite

My second card is using a Mo's Digital Pencil Too called "Mother To Be 1".  When I first bought this stamp I had every intention of using it to make a card for my DIL but beings she's due in about 4 weeks I think it's a little late to say congratulations, huh!?!  Oh well....I still love this image and maybe I can use it someday!!!

I really enjoyed creating this card and have used the new Friday Sketchers sketch for this one.  Hey...I needed all the mojo help I could get!  :)  Oh...whats that I see...another handmade rose!?!  Okay, I'm hopelessly addicted to them!!  LOL!!

And here are a couple of cards that I created a couple of weeks ago when I was getting ready for our Saturday Market here in town.  For these two cards I have used a couple of Karen's Doodles images and OMGosh...does she ever have some cute ones.  I have a wedding couple that I colored but ran out of mojo today before I got it put into a card that is just a FABULOUS image.  Be on the lookout for that one in the hopefully near future!!!  Here's my cards.....

Super fun images huh!?!  I really enjoyed creating both of these cards and the top one was actually done for the Karen's Doodles challenge blog a couple of weeks ago but my blogger was having issues and I couldn't post it.  Oh well....you get to see it now!!!
